I don't think so. Cane/Hat Man is spawned from the Morphine Nation school of comedy, where nothing is considered sacred or off limits. I do not believe that a comic itself (one featuring stick figures no less) can cause harm to anyone. Nonetheless, I'm sure there are some people out there that could consider this site offensive so if you are one of those people I will ask you now to go away, I probably wouldn't like you anyway. However, if it needs to be said, the actions and beliefs of Cane/Hat Man do not necessarily reflect those of the author.
Does Cane/Hat Man truly feel happiness about what he does?
Good Question. There are many schools of thought on this and if you're interested in discussing it, I recommend contributing to the section of the forums entitled "The Great Hall of Philosophical Hearings and Arguments Concerning Cane/Hat Man.
I don't get it!
Cane/Hat Man has always wanted to know the world but refuses to succumb to it. For commiting such simple acts, it would seem that the motivation behind such actions is anything but.
